A bunch of changes have taken place in the last few days.
ArchBang is now Arch Linux + LXDE. We feel that LXDE is more appropriate and provides a wholesome lightweight desktop environment with much more functionalities than plain openbox.
Recently Gitorious failed on me and I had to move all the codes to Github. So our new ArchBang Git repo is now in: http://github.com/archbang
Now this blog can be accessed using: http://archbang.co.cc

Nice distro, ARCHBANG, bit is this not still a bit buggy, LXDE…?
I have Installed Arch w/ LXDE and X kept freezing… funny this thing…
I am also trying to build my own Arch LiveDVD, but somehow ArchLive scripts fail in my system… I have reported this in Arch Forum, and in LQuestions… strange this…
Keep the good work
Alex

Hey Alex,
Nice to see you again!
Why don’t you checkout our Github and see if you like it? LXDE works pretty swell here, fast, stable and light. You can also get involved with ArchBang development if you want.

What i meant to say was that the name ArchBang came from CrunchBang which is an openbox distro and so was ArchBang, so now that it has changed to lxde, the BANG in the end is still proper or not.

ArchBang is still an Openbox distro. LXDE uses openbox.
